Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a widely practiced form of psychological therapy that focuses on identifying and modifying the connections between a person's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is based on the idea that our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors, and by changing negative or unhelpful thought patterns, individuals can improve their emotional well-being and overall functioning.

CBT involves collaboration between the therapist and client to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, replace them with more realistic or constructive thoughts, and develop coping strategies to manage distressing emotions and behaviors. It is a structured and goal-oriented approach that aims to equip individuals with practical skills to effectively address a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, phobias, and more.
